This month I couldn't think of a more fitting picture that represents this awesome community. In the Easter holidays, Beachfitters and their families and friends gathered to clean up the beach that we know and love. Over 30 people helped to collect a van full of rubbish - I thought we wouldn't find much but the more you look.... and children were crawling through the undergrowth to get to it!
It was genuinely heart-warming to see people want to give back and looking after the environment around them. Thank you to all who attended. Thanks also goes to the wonderful Cove Cafe who provided all the youngsters with hot chocolate to reward them for their hard work.
