This year I felt genuinely privileged to award Beachfitter of the Year to the lovely Louise. Louise is, frankly, a legend. I love that this has become a yearly tradition! The outfits were brilliant, the weather held out, and this year’s route through the towans was so lovely. Such an awesome group of women to run and laugh with — the sauna and drinks at Gilbert’s were the perfect bonus afterwards! We must have looked interesting to the dog walkers who we passed en route!

Last weekend we descended on Quay Kitchen in Hayle for a wonderful night of delicious food, laughter, and dancing. It felt incredibly special to bring our Beachfit community together off the sand and into a cosy festive setting. We spend so much of the year training side-by-side in all weathers, so celebrating the the friendships built through Beachfit always feels extra meaningful.
