Why I programme what I do… if you look at fitness in the press and social
media it can seem complicated whereas actually the fundamentals remain the same. I ensure that we work on all of the essential movement patterns, as well as focussing on form, mobility and using increased resistance where appropriate. We vary intensities to benefit all round fitness. I incorporate unilateral work which crosses over to everyday life as well as being very important in sport specific training. We include power to work on strength and speed which is so important as we age. I include games to aid cognitive function and because it makes me and hopefully you laugh!!
As a beachfitter you already get top marks for including all of these aspects in your life. Your body and mind will be benefiting hugely. Well done.
