Beachfit 5km Run & Sauna – Finding Flow by the Sea
This weekend’s Beachfit 5km Run & Sauna reminded me exactly why I love what we do.
There’s something special about running as a group – the chatter, the shared rhythm of footsteps, and the way conversation can pull you out of your own head. It’s amazing how a steady jog along the sand can turn into a moving meditation when you’re surrounded by good people, sea air, and laughter.

The route was on familiar ground but exploring different paths through the towans. There’s no pressure to chase times here – just connection, movement, and the reminder of how good it feels to be out there.
Finishing with a sauna by the sea was the perfect balance of effort and calm. It’s these moments that remind us that fitness is about far more than physical strength – it’s about community, wellbeing, and taking time for ourselves.
Thank you to everyone who came along, for the energy, the encouragement, and the smiles. These sessions always leave me feeling fantastic.
